Music Videos

I started making fan videos the summer of '05. Program of choice was Adobe Premiere Pro, which I was able to use out of no where. I had tried out an older version of the program years before, and gave up immediately, but this time around I was dedicated enough to learn how to drag and drop clips. =b

Supernatural | Stargate: Atlantis | Gekiranger | Kamen Rider Agito | Kamen Rider Kabuto

Supernatural

AVI (17.3MB)

Bye Bye Bye

Music: *NSYNC - Bye Bye Bye
Length: 1:21
Characters: Castiel, Dean
Episodes: Clips from S4-S6
About: A one day vid! I was playing SingStar, came across Bye Bye Bye, and was like, you know what? I'm totally going to do a Supernatural vid to this. So I did. I'm a fan who is glad Cas has finally grown a pair and stood up to Dean. Hey, maybe he picked a bad time to do it, but I don't really care, I'm glad he did it.

Stargate: Atlantis

AVI (32.1MB)

Stargate Atlantis: Armed Galaxy Exploration

Music: Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Soundtrack - Revelation, Cunningham
Length: 2:20
Character: Team
Episode: Mostly from Rising, but with a few random clips dispersed throughout. (Nothing from S4.)
About: Entry for the Kawoosh! Video Game Music Challenge. In the past I had tried to make 1) a video using the Metal Gear Solid 2 opening thing and 2) a video game like fan vid. This challenge allowed me to sort of do both. While I didn't use the MGS2 theme OR make it as video gamish as I had intended, I at least got it done.

WMV (10.2MB) :: AVI (30.4MB)

Spider-man

Music: Aerosmith - Spider-man
Length: 2:03
Character: Sheppard
Episode: 208 - Conversion
About: S2 Conversion-centric. Because the episode was very silly, and every single person watching thought Spider-man. In doing this video I just realized that it's another Sheppard video. And I keep telling myself I don't even like his character that much. Shesh.
Any ways, I really had fun with this one. I wanted to do a short song, and something fun. This worked out great. I got to play around a lot with different special effects that I never even thought about trying out.

Hero

Music: Chad Kroeger Feat. Josey Scott - Hero
Length: 3:15
Character: Sheppard
Episode: Rising
About: Rising focused. Sheppard is our new hero. Found the song on my hard drive, wanted to vid to it despite having 5 or so unfinished projects. So for two days instead of reading The Odyssey, I finished this up.
Looking back on the video, maybe it isn't as Sheppard focused as I originally thought. I think I started off as just vidding to Rising, and ended up favoring Sheppard more. Mmm, maybe I should make notes about my videos while I'm making them. *shrugs*

Rescue Rangers: Atlantis Style

Music: Chip 'N Dale Theme Song
Format: avi
Length: 1:10
Characters: Sheppard and McKay
About: Inspired after visintg retrojunk.com. I grew up with Chip 'N Dale on the televsion, and I'm still a kid at heart (okay, so I'm still a kid in general). Basically, I wanted to make a SGA video, I wanted a short song, I had just visited retrojunk... and yeah, this is the result.

Juuken Sentai Gekiranger

WMV (11.3MB) :: AVI (25.0MB)

Rip It Up

Music: Razorlight - Rip It Up
Length: 2:35
Character: GekiViolet (Fukami Gou)
Episodes: 22-25
About: It's no secret that I'm loving Gekiranger this year, and the debut of GekiViolet made it so much better. After episode 25 aired, I sat down to make a music video. Only couple of weeks in the making, and I'm really proud of the results.
The video is all about GekiViolet! Short and fast and (in my opinion) one of the best videos I've made.

AVI (31.9MB)

All You Wanted

Music: Michelle Branch - All You Wanted
Length: 3:32
Characters: Mele/Rio
Episodes: Up to 9
About: I am very proud of this video for one reason: I finished it in a day. Normally it takes me a really really long time. Like, I'll spend hours on 10 seconds, and then give up on it for a few months. This time, all in a day, baby!
This is also my first sentai video, because I'm really loving Gekiranger this year. I'm loving Mele, almost as much as she loves Rio. I heard this song and decided I ought as well try my hand at a video. It's mostly about Mele, but then again their "relationship" is mostly one-sided... I think there are a few spots I'm not happy with (like all videos I suppose), but I will push those feelings back because... one day!!

Kamen Rider Agito

WMV (9.13MB) :: AVI (21.4MB)

Peacekeeper

Music: Fleetwood Mac - Peacekeeper
Length: 3:42
Character: Ryou/Gills
Episodes: 1-12, 47-51 (Probably not all of the episodes, but I grabbed clips from those DVD sets.)
About: Started this in December '05, didn't finish it up until May '06. I started this because I wanted to vid to the song, and I wanted to do a tokusatsu one. After a very long break I finally sat down and finished the video after seeing a one posted on HJU Forums.

Kamen Rider Kabuto

AVI (13.9MB)

Kamen Rider Kabuto Fan-made Opening

Music: YU-KI - NEXT LEVEL
Length: 1:12
Episodes: Up to 22
About: Just wanted to play around with more tokusatsu stuff, and since all of Kabuto was sitting on my computer... Also screwed around with photoshop and layers in Premiere. It was a fun little project, and I'm glad I was able to finish it fairly quick in comparision with my other videos (I started it on May 31st).
